Traditional dance from Ponorogo Regency in East Java, Indonesia. The dancer must have a strong jaw to hold “dadak merak” with his teeth. Dadak merak is a large mask shaped like lion’s head and decorated with peacock’s feathers, up to 2 meters height, and weight 40-50 kg.
